Our studio is closed on Monday, May 29th in observation of Memorial Day.
Stagelight Moms & Kids Pancake Breakfast
We’re inviting all of our Stagelighters to bring their Moms to our very first Stagelight Moms & Kids Pancake Breakfast to celebrate our amazing Stagelight Moms for Mother’s Day! This open-house-style event takes place on Saturday, May 20th from 8:30-11:30am and you are invited to attend for FREE! Come enjoy some good food, music, and create a craft with your Stagelighter.
Breakfast includes pancakes, a photo booth opportunity, a craft, and loads of FUN!
While this event is free, please RSVP at the Pancake Breakfast Sign Up Genius so we can get an accurate headcount for food & supplies. We have staggered arrival times, but each family is welcome to stay as long as they would like. Please RSVP by May 5th.
If there are Stagelight Dads that would like to volunteer to help with breakfast prep, we would greatly appreciate it!
Summer Showcase is Getting Closer!
Volunteers to Help Backstage
Putting on a show this size requires the help of many volunteers. Please consider helping us by volunteering for the show your child is not in. By helping each other, we can ensure that every parent can watch their own child perform instead of “work” the show. If you prefer to volunteer during your child’s performance, you are welcome to “watch from the wings” backstage. If you would like to volunteer to help during our Summer Showcase, head to our Summer Showcase Sign Up Genius.
Underdressings Available In-Studio
All performers are required to wear underdressings beneath their costumes during our Summer Showcase.
- Girls are required to wear skin-tone leotard and skin-tone tights (pink tights for girls in a Ballet routine)
- Boys are required to wear a white T-shirt and black shorts
In the studio, we have Nude leotards, Light Suntan tights, and Pink tights, all available in both adult and child sizes. You can visit our Customer Portal to purchase. When you purchase from the Portal, you receive an email once your items are ready for pick-up in studio. If we do not carry your child’s size, you can also purchase them here. Be sure to select a skin-tone color (Pink tights for Ballet) before purchasing through Discount Dance.
Showcase Practice Music & Performer Details
You can visit our website (click on the spreadsheet screenshot) for practice music, show order, required underdressings, shoes, and costume notes. We update this spreadsheet as we receive practice music from our instructors.
Ticket Sales
General tickets for Summer Showcase go on sale Monday, May 8th. You can visit our website after 4pm on that day to purchase your tickets for the show. If your child is a member of our Triple Threat program (actively enrolled in 3+ classes), check your email now for links to priority ticket sales!
Important Showcase Dates to Note
- June 12-16: Come to class! We’ll be wrapping up our routines, staging formations, and DISTRIBUTING COSTUMES! Girls must wear tights/leotard underdressings and boys must wear black basketball shorts and a white T-shirt to class so we can try on costumes quickly.
- June 19-23: Come to class! We will be holding dress rehearsals during class. It’s their last chance to perfect their routines before the big performance! Make sure your performer comes to class performance-ready, with their underdressings, costume, and hair & makeup done.
- June 24 & 25: The time has come for our Summer Showcase! Performers’ call times are 1.5 hours prior to showtime. Please arrive promptly to Valencia High School for check-in and on-stage rehearsals. Doors will open 30 minutes before showtime.
Our 22/23 Season Ends After Showcase
After our last Summer Showcase performance on June 25th, 2023, our current season sadly comes to an end. All students are automatically unenrolled from their classes. But don’t worry! Our 23/24 Season begins on August 7th, 2022. Re-enrollment is required to participate in our 23/24 season.

Stagelight Scenes & Stagelight Sings Tickets on Sale
We are getting so excited for our students to perform in Stagelight Scenes & Stagelight Sings! If you haven’t grabbed your tickets for these shows, be sure to do so HERE!
- Stagelight Scenes (all actively enrolled Acting level I students): Wednesday, May 24th at 6:30pm at the Curtis Theatre
