Get ready for another #ThrowbackThursday! This time, we’re featuring Tyce G! One of our first Stagelighters who’s been with us since day one (Ms. Alyssa’s son). Currently in 3rd grade, you can find Tyce on the basketball court, playing video games, or hanging out with his friend Nolan. One of Tyce’s favorite memories goes back to the day when he and his little sister got their picture taken in the old studio when it was getting remodeled. Tyce’s dream role is Pinocchio in Shrek. When he grows up, Tyce wants to be in the NBA. We see you accomplishing great things Tyce! We’re so proud of you!

Our Throwback Thursday of the week is non other than Emma Hoang! Currently a fifth grader, Emma has a passion for video gaming, animating, drawing, reading, and of course dancing! When Emma grows up she wants to be an artist or an actress on broadway. Emma’s favorite memory at Stagelight was back in our 2015 Holiday Showcase, where she performed her first tap routine on stage. She described it as the most fun she’s had on stage. Her ultimate dream role is Elphaba in “Wicked.” We are incredibly proud of you Emma, and we love having you as a Stagelighter!

We had a BLAST working with our “business partners” from Laurel Elementary Magnet School this morning! This creative group of 4th graders nailed their musical theatre class and performance, identified countless artistic and marketing details around the studio, and were presented with their business marketing project.

We can’t wait to see what these scholar/artist/business-kids come up with! The future is SO BRIGHT— Power Up!
