Inspired by the melodies of Taylor Swift’s Trouble and Meghan Trainor’s All About that Bass, these two catchy songs will introduce young musicians and performers to the Treble and Bass music clefs.

Print out the lyrics, and follow along with the YouTube recordings. Any time we get the opportunity to use fun mnemonics to help students understand a concept, we’ll take it!

Our #ThrowbackThursday this week is Megan M! Megan is an 8^th grader who loves all things artistic. Her favorite hobbies are painting and photography. Megan’s favorite Stagelight memory was performing in her first Holiday Showcase in 2015. Megan really shines in her Stagelight ballet classes. We’ve loved watching you grow into such a talented dancer Megan!  #weliveonstage #dostagelight

With rain on the horizon again in Southern California, and government-mandated “stay home” orders, we can only imagine the amount of cooped up energy your Mini Stagelighter has at this point!

It’s time to “Shake it Off” and get moving. This fun Kids Zumba workout will do the job. And although you might get sick of hearing this song on repeat, we bet it’ll help your Mini shake off some extra energy, memorize choreography, and stay inspired!
