We love giving our students a chance to show off all they have been working on in their classes and have the opportunity to Live on Stage. Our Summer Showcase is coming up, so please read thoroughly for very important information about our show.
Cast Assignments
Calling all performers! During June 24th & 25th, all Group Dance, Group Vocal, and Musical Theatre classes have their time to shine on stage. Each one of these group classes are assigned a CAST (Purple, Blue, or Silver), with specified performance times:
PURPLE CAST: Friday, June 24th – 4:30pm call time; 6:00pm show at Valencia HS
BLUE CAST: Saturday, June 25th – 10:30am call time; 12:00pm show at Valencia HS
SILVER CAST: Saturday, June 25th – 2:30pm call time; 4:00pm show at Valencia HS
Please note, your child has been automatically added to each applicable performance. You can log on to the Customer Portal to view your child’s performance schedule (showcase enrollments list the CAST in the title).
Costume and Performance Fee
A fee of $25 per class is charged to your account along with tuition on May 1st. This fee includes each students’ costume rental. If you decide to opt-out of any performances following May 1st, any paid performance fees cannot be refunded.
Underdressings
All performers are required to wear underdressings beneath their costumes. Girls are required to wear skin-tone leotard and tights (pink tights for girls in Ballet classes). Boys are required to wear a white T-shirt and black shorts. We have Nude leotards, Light Suntan tights, and Pink tights available for purchase. You can visit our Customer Portal to check if we have your child’s size in stock. When you purchase from the Portal, you receive an email once your items are ready for pick-up in studio. If we do not carry your child’s size, you can also purchase them here. Be sure to select a skin-tone color (Pink for Ballet) before purchasing through Discount Dance.
Performance Week
There is lots to do before we can celebrate the sight of our Stagelighters’ return to the stage. Here is an outline of important dates to note:
- June 10-16: Costume distribution week – all participating performers receive their costumes for the Summer Showcase during their normally scheduled class time
- June 17-23: In-studio dress rehearsal – all classes participating in Summer Showcase rehearse their routines during class. Performers must arrive to class in full costume and makeup
- June 24-25: Summer Showcase performances at Valencia High School

If your child is a member of our Triple Threat Program (enrolled in 3+ classes), you have priority access to ticket sales. Tickets are $15 each, and there are no refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases.
