With more than three decades of experience leading orchestras, choirs, solo vocal performers, and educational programs in the United States and abroad, he has devoted his career to inspiring students to reach their fullest potential through the performing arts. Known for his encouraging teaching style and commitment to student success, Dr. Deypalan creates a welcoming environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and valued. He believes that music education develops far more than performance skills. As an award-winning conductor, Dr. Deypalan has conducted at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and the Vatican and has worked with musicians from around the world. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Orchestral Conducting from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Music in Conducting Performance from Chapman University. He has also been recognized with a Presidential Award for Community Service for his commitment to enriching lives through the arts.
