Kelly Stavert

From an early age, Kelly discovered a love for performing in front of live audiences through ice skating shows. That passion led her to pursue theatre, earning an Associate’s degree from Florida School of the Arts before moving to New York City to train at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.

While in New York, she began performing improv and quickly fell in love with its spontaneity, creativity, and connection with audiences. That passion eventually brought her to Los Angeles, where she continued her training at The Groundlings.Along the way, she found her way back to the ice—this time as a Host and MC—combining her performance background with her love of engaging and entertaining audiences in a whole new way.

Today, Kelly performs stand-up comedy and improv throughout Orange County and Los Angeles, always pursuing the same electric connection with a live audience that first inspired her as a child. She has always loved working with kids—whom she considers the very best audience. As both a parent and performer, she is passionate about helping students build confidence, embrace their creativity, and discover their unique voice. Kelly is thrilled to be joining the Stagelight team and looks forward to inspiring the next generation of performers.
