JAMIE MARTINEZ
Office Assistant
Jamie Martinez was born and raised in Southern California. She started dancing and performing at Fine Arts academy of Dance when she was 8 years old. She then went on to dance with the Brea Olinda High School dance program and participated as a student choreographer and performer. Jamie went on to Fullerton College and recently graduated with her AA in psychology. She has performed in multiple dance concerts and has attended the American College Dance Association at both the Baja and Northwestern conference. Currently she is continuing her education in dance at FJC along with training at Millennium Dance Complex OC and Offstage while obtaining her real estate license.

What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new faces and interacting with the kids.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy dancing, travel, weightlifting, and going to the beach.

1. I’ve stepped on a sea urchin
2. I take classes at OFFSTAGE GRV and MDCOC
3. I love Costco chicken bake.
Why did you choose to pursue a career in your field?
I grew up in a dance studio and want to pursue a career in dance.
If you weren’t working at Stagelight, what other job could you see yourself pursuing?
I have an interest in real estate.
What’s your favorite musical, movie, and/or show?
My favorite TV show is the walking dead.
