Charlene yun
ASSISTANT
Born and raised in Southern California, Charlene cultivated her love for the performing arts through theatre, classical piano, and vocals. She began dancing at Stagelight Performing Arts in 2018 and has been involved with Stagelight Dance Company as a teen company member and soloist. For six years, she’s been a teaching assistant and enjoys helping children with special needs discover dance. In her free time, Charlene is either reading or running a social media page. She’s currently studying Business Administration at Biola University.

25/26 is my first season!
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to participate in dance, even if it’s different than how I’m used to!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy all things reading!
What are 3 fun facts about you?
1. I’ve read over 100 books each year since 2021
2. I paint my nails at least once a week
3. I was homeschooled all throughout high school!
Why did you choose to pursue a career in your field?
My time as a dancer impacted a lot of my life, so I love being able to share dance and continue it, even in a new light.
If you weren’t a teacher, what other job could you see yourself pursuing?
Marketing.
