Sofia Ayala was born and raised in Orange County, California. Since age 3, she has been dancing in various styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and more. She grew up dancing competitively at Hart Academy of Dance and discovered her love for teaching and choreographing in high school. Sofia was the Captian of Fullerton Union High School’s Dance Production team, and choreographed numerous routines in various styles. Sofia is currently working towards getting her Bachelors of Arts Degree at California State University, Fullerton, and is constantly training to become a professional in the industry. She has a huge love and appreciation for teaching kids dance and helping them find their own safe and happy environment in the studio. Sofia aspires to continue teaching, performing, and choreographing for as long as she possibly can, and is always growing as an artist and individual. Lastly, she is so incredibly grateful to be apart of the Stagelight team!
