Following our policies ensures our classes, schedule, and transactions operate as smoothly as possible. Please familiarize yourself with all policies below; contact us with any questions you have. Tuition is based on an 10-month season (like a school year), with monthly payments AutoCharged the first of each month, September-June, no matter if the month has four or five weeks. Tuition is based on the number of classes your child takes per week:
SEASON REGISTRATION: $25/student or $40/family; Registration fee is paid each season at time of enrollment.
PRIVATE LESSONS*: $40/half hour or $80/hour (*represents most teacher rates; call for more information)
SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS: $25/half hour/student or $50/hour/student
DROP-IN CLASS FEE: $16 for non-registered students / $13.25 for registered students
TRIPLE THREAT ADVANTAGE PROGRAM: Enroll in 3 or more classes per week for priority ticket sales, a headshot displayed at the studio, & more!
Class tuition is based on a 10-month season, with payments due on the first of every month, September-June.
Tuition is AutoCharged on the first of each month; a credit card must be on file with Stagelight Performing Arts.
Invoices will not be sent prior to AutoCharge; a signed Authorization Form must remain on file at the studio.
A late fee of $20 will be assessed on the 11th of the month if payment is not posted by the 10th.
Registration and tuition are non-refundable.
Registration fee is paid each season at time of enrollment.
To drop a class/classes and stop AutoCharge, a Drop Form must be submitted by the 15th of the month to avoid being charged the next month’s tuition.
Missed classes cannot be used as “credits” toward tuition.
Private vocal lesson students who need to purchase a song during a lesson will be charged the cost of the song.
class & PRIVATE LESSON policies
Group classes are 55 minutes in length, unless otherwise noted on the schedule. If less than 4 students are in attendance, the class will run 45 minutes. Private lessons are 30 minutes or 1 hour.
Classes must have a minimum of 4 students enrolled (not present) to be open during the season.
A student’s age must fall within the class age range to be enrolled in the class (6-month grace period allowed with instructor approval). Level II & level III classes require audition or teacher recommendation and placement.
Private lessons will be AutoCharged on the 1st of each month. No refunds on private lesson payments.
Private lessons must be cancelled with 24-hour notice for credit to be used toward future lessons.
When a private lesson instructor is sick, a qualified substitute will be provided. Private lessons with a substitute cannot be cancelled for credit.
Makeups are permitted when a student misses a class in which he/she is enrolled.
Makeups expire one month after missed class.
Students must be enrolled in at least one class to use makeups.
Class makeups may not be used toward private lessons.
We are a conservative studio. No bare midriffs.
Acting, Vocal and Musical Theatre class: Students should wear comfortable dance/workout wear that allows for easy movement.
Ballet ages 7+: Assigned Stagelight leotard according to level, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. A color-specific ballet skirt is optional. Hair in secure bun.
All other Dance classes: dance/workout wear (no denim) and proper shoes (jazz or tap shoes).
Hair securely out of face for all movement classes.
Students are not permitted to take class out of dress code.
Respect yourself, your classmates, teachers and staff. Avoid gossip.
All social media posts involving Stagelight Performing Arts must be positive in nature. Negative or inappropriate posts will be reported.
use of facilities
Use of the studios are for class and performance purposes only. Children are not permitted to be in the studios without the chaperonage of Stagelight Performing Arts faculty. Parents, guardians, and guests should only enter the studios when invited by a faculty member. Please note that it may be requested you remove your shoes before entering studios.
Classes can be observed from the hallways through the windows that look into each studio. Do not ever interrupt a class in session. Request permission from the instructor to enter the studio before or after class. It is generally preferred that all meetings with instructors occur in the office or reception area.
–Homework Room and common areas:
The Homework Room is provided for students who may have down time between classes. The area is to be used for homework and studying only and is a quiet zone. The reception area and hallways should remain quiet while classes are in session.
The studios are available for rent. Please inquire with Stagelight Performing Arts faculty for details and scheduling.
Students will periodically be encouraged to participate in Stagelight Performing Arts’ showcases and performances as they arise. Upon accepting a “role” in a showcase or performance, it is expected that the student and his or her parents commit to the provided rehearsal schedule, costume agreement, and payment plan.
If your child chooses not to participate in a showcase, he or she will never be asked to “stand to the side” in one of our classes at Stagelight Performing Arts. Although we hope you and your child see the value of participating in our showcases, performances are never mandatory. We are experts at creating an engaging atmosphere in the classroom for ALL students, whether or not they are participating in the final showcase.
We look forward to producing great work with our students! This can only be done when all involved uphold their commitments and accept our policies.

PARKING & DROP OFF POLICY
Please help us keep our parking lot safe and efficient by:
– Pulling straight into the center and turning left at the FAR END of the parking lot into our side
– Pulling forward as far as possible to drop off your children
– Parking only in unmarked stalls or stalls labeled 2657
– Do not send your children across the parking lot from the right side of the lot to our side (no matter his or her age)
– Please use safety and caution at all times when pulling out of stalls and driving through the lot
– No unattended children in the parking lot
–Arrival and Departure:
We encourage students to arrive 15 minutes before class starts. For their safety, children under age 10 should be picked up immediately after class. Students ages 10 and older must be picked up no more than 15 minutes after their class is completed.
Classes for 4-6 year olds will be released at the classroom door at the conclusion of class.
Stagelight Performing Arts faculty supervises all classes. There is no supervision offered in the Homework Room or common areas. Parents and guardians must supervise their children when they are not in class.
Stagelight Performing Arts does not assume responsibility for students who exit the premises without parental supervision. We encourage parents to be vigilant and know when their children are done with class. Children will not be permitted to loiter in the hallways, homework area, or reception area.
